hi readers! im BACK!! for those of you who didnt expect to see any updates when u click on my blog this time round, YOU ARE WRONG! =p
have been wanting to blog. but everytime it seems like there's this invisible force that stop me from blogging when i log in to the blogger site. so i sign in, and i sign out. ok basically im just plain lazy.
so many things have happened. shall just mentioned a few.
I CAME BACK FROM MALAYSIA!~
and i totally enjoy that one week trip! nt gg to upload photos here. too leh cheh.. hee. just visit my facebook. went msia with dear and my younger bro with my aunties and uncles. we went to KL for 3 days and to perak to my grannies place for another 3 days. KL=urban living. perak=rural living. and i enjoyed BOTH!
what i have learnt from this trip:
1. food can be a real temptation!
we ate and ate and ate. almost every moment! within the span of 1-2hrs, sometimes lesser, we found ourselves eating again! the food is simply awesome! tho the cooking env is not very clean la.. but its reli ultimately awesome! maybe they "jia liao".
2. i've learnt how to play a good host.
all my uncles and aunties are so so so hospitable. KL's auntie too. they simply drove us everywhere to places with good food, fun activities etc. treating us every meal, taking care of our lodging, giving us msia sim card so that we are contactable, by bus tix to return to spore, buy goodies for us so that we can bring back to spore, interpreting for us, drying our clothes, cooking our meals, calling us to remind us to take care of our belongings..... etc too much to mentioned here. all of them are just so nice! i feel like i have so many parents truout the week! they reli feed me and take care of me so well while my parents are not there. i do feel guilty that when they visit spore, most of the time im out doing my own stuff and not spending time with them. ok next time when they come, i shall be their host!
3. family bonding is very impt!
truout the week, everyone is just so nice to us! i rem when we were at my 2nd aunt house, almost everyone was there. all of us were just sitting in the living room talking without agenda. the whole living room was just filled with adults conversation and kids laughter. it reminds me of when i was young, i was the one disturbing my mum when she was conversing with the rest of the adults. ha. but anyway, by just sitting there even without engaging in any topics, you will just enjoy the simple joy of family gathering together, adults sharing about their work and parenthood and gossip abt the neighbours (haha!), while the older kids will make fun or disturb or play with the younger ones, either making them cry or laugh... i simply love this kinda gathering. so heart-warming. and like wad KL said, my family is very opened, we basically talk and joke abt anything under the sun! ha. that explains why the way i talk and share sometimes. haha! WOMAN! you shd know wad i mean =p
I wana go back msia AGAIN! sometimes we just got to take time out for those who reli matters to us. and very often, we spend time more with our friends rather than family.
4. taking care of ple is NOT EASY!~
so my parents are away, or rather im away from my parents. and with that 2 BOYS (Mr kee liang n mr kee kai), i assume the role of a mother for a week! its not easy to be a mother seriously. i got to wash their clothes, dry their clothes, pack their stuff, remind them to check the passports and the wallets bla bla bla... i find myself so naggy. worse is they might take u for granted and tell u straight in the face that u are naggy! -_- u reli have a big capacity to contain someone or a family in ur life. i cant imagine marriage life. 2 different ple coming to live tgt under the same roof, sharing the same room, same toilet, same bed. nt easy. any advices from those married ones? ha
i've learnt lots even tho its a holiday. its good to have a holiday. u simply dun care abt anything and do some self reflection on what reli matters to u most. im looking forward to my next hols. REDANG and HONG KONG probably! definitely KL and PERAK too!
i want spend more time with my family this year. =)
God, family, ministry/studies.
